North Shore Piano Lessons

Toni taught piano to me and my 4 brothers over a span of almost 20 years. I took lessons from 1st grade all the way through my senior year of high school, and this experience was one of the most impactful in my life. Toni is an outstanding piano teacher, but his most valuable skill is encouraging the musical interests of his students. He taught me everything from modern pop to classic rock, and when I developed a stronger inclination towards classical music he always had suggestions on what I might enjoy next. That’s why music is still a huge part of my life 15 years after my first lesson.

Toni began teaching our girls at a young age and has been great at building not only their skills, but their confidence. He has worked with us to get through those difficult “I want to quit piano” phases to keep the kids engaged and motivated. Over the years he has been extremely flexible with our crazy work, school, and extra-curricular schedules to always find times to work in the weekly lessons. Toni is an excellent piano instructor that we cannot recommend highly enough.

Tony has done a fantastic job teaching both of our kids how to play piano for past five years, both in person and remotely during the pandemic. He is knowledgeable and supportive, but he also pushes them to do their best. His flexible scheduling allows lessons to work around their many other activities. We highly recommend him!

Toni has been a fantastic teacher. He is very patient but provides good constructive criticism and exercises that help with key development areas. My youngest son has shown a lot of progress over the years. He is easy to work with and very accommodating with people’s busy schedules and other competing activities. Highly recommend

Toni has been teaching my kids piano for about two months now. He's intentional with his lessons and is patient as the kids learn a complex instrument. When possible, he is flexible with lesson times. My kids have so far enjoyed the lessons. Great start!

I can’t overestimate how great our family thinks Toni is! Toni was an amazing piano teacher to my three kids for almost ten years. He also taught me (mom!) for a few years. Toni is a beautiful pianist, but more importantly he is a skilled teacher. He was always able to adapt his teaching style for my three very different children. He made learning piano fun, but also was good at instilling some old-fashioned values. My children became beautiful pianists under him, but also learned discipline, confidence, creativity, and also how to present oneself. It is hard to have Toni come into your house weekly and not have him become a friend. He became such a close friend to our family that he was always invited to major family events. And as he was coming or going from our house, he was good at joining an impromptu driveway basketball game or front yard soccer practice. You can’t go wrong having Toni teach you or your children!
